Tibetan Cultural Centre

On the vineyards of Balatonkeresztúr is the home of the Tibetan Cultural Center - or Tibetan called Rabten Tashi Ling, which opened its doors in 2000 to people who are interested or believers. The moderate-sized meditation center of a worldwide religious community led by the Dalai Lama, dedicated to the memory of Sándor Kőrösi Csoma, preserves the Tibetan-Hungarian relationship. The center, which consists of eight houses and a temple, holds a ceremony twice a day, and multilingual monks are happy to introduce everyone to the mysteries of Buddhist meditation. Those who would like to stay can sleep in one of the guest houses: seven small houses with fully equipped kitchens, vineyards and a panoramic view of Lake Balaton can retire to nature and enjoy the undisturbed idyll.

Address: 8648 Balatonkeresztúr, Szőlőhegy
